Adapted from Michael Cunningham’s acclaimed novel, The Hours was inspired by Virginia Woolf’s Mrs. Dalloway and made a household name by the Oscar-winning 2002 film version starring Meryl Streep, Julianne Moore, and Nicole Kidman.
